Fiberewetopia: At the intersection of spinning, weaving and knitting....
-30C this morning in my neck of the woods. And it has been this way since Monday with daily highs around -20. Ick. Wool is indeed a Very Good Thing.
Condelences, we are having an unseasonable spring-like pattern. It's horrible - really.
Brrr, what wretched weather you've been having. It's the season for knitting warm sweaters!
Thanks for your comment on my blog! Gracie has indeed got a stash of ping pong balls, too. I get tired of fishing them out from under/behind things. I think she likes to see the contortions I go through to find 'em!Here's hoping for warmer weather soon in your part of the country.
p.s. I've heard that a ping pong ball *inside* a bathtub is even better. The ball is (sort of) contained, so it's less likely to end up behind the fridge. The cat probably gets awfully dizzy, though.
Good thing there is wool!Layer up! (the cush factor is wonderful that way)
Stupid negative degree temperatures. You're right, this winter (and last) has been brutal. I remember enjoying this a lot more as a kid, maybe because it meant snow days.
tie in the loose ends...
